Liberty, Missouri's Favorite Vintage Pop-Up Market

Fun, funky, and eclectic finds from 20 talented vendors. Open one weekend a month at our quaint red warehouse in Liberty, MO.

-Collected, Not Staged-
Curated Home Goods That Give Your Space Real Character
Mass-produced, cookie-cutter decor fills every big-box store in the country. The Red Apron exists for people who want something different. Our vendors bring vintage home decor, antique treasures, painted furniture, seasonal pieces, KC gear, jewelry, baby items, and handmade products to the warehouse every month. Because our 20 vendors each bring their own eye and expertise, the result is a collection that feels genuinely "collected" rather than staged. Prices range from approachable everyday finds to standout statement pieces, making the market accessible whether you are spending $20 or looking for that rare $800 furniture score. Come see why shoppers from Liberty, Kearney, Smithville, Gladstone, North Kansas City, Blue Springs, and across the Kansas City metro make the trip every single month.

14 Years of Junking, Curating, and Building Community in Liberty, MO
The Red Apron opened its doors in December 2011 with a simple idea: bring together passionate vendors who love vintage, give them a beautiful space to showcase their finds, and open it up to the community once a month. Founder Kirsten Sundell grew up surrounded by art and developed a deep love for junking, estate sales, flea markets, and garage sales. That passion is woven into every inch of the red warehouse on County Road H. Over 14 years, the market has grown into a multi-vendor collective of 20 sellers who reset the entire store every 30 days. The result is a shopping experience that feels fresh, exciting, and a little like a treasure hunt every single time.

Frequently Asked Questions About The Red Apron
When is The Red Apron open each month?
The Red Apron is open the 3rd Friday and Saturday of every month from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The only exception is December, when the sale shifts to the 1st Friday and Saturday to celebrate the business anniversary. Because the market is only open two days a month, we recommend arriving early, especially on Friday morning, as the most popular one-of-a-kind pieces tend to sell quickly once the doors open.GPS keeps taking me to a dead end. How do I actually get to the warehouse?
Standard GPS and Google Maps often lead visitors astray, so we recommend using landmarks instead. From Liberty, drive half a mile from the William Jewell College Mabee Center. After you cross the railroad bridge, look for the green highway sign for Excelsior Springs and Kearney, then turn onto the gravel road at The Red Apron sign. From Kearney or Excelsior Springs, take B Highway to the intersection of B and H Highways, turn right on H, and the gravel road will be immediately on your right. Follow the sign about 100 yards to the warehouse. What kinds of items can I expect to find at the market?
The Red Apron carries a wide range of curated home goods and vintage treasures, including painted and antique furniture, vintage artwork, brass pieces, Pyrex, books, antique toys, nostalgic home accents, seasonal decor, handmade products from local artisans, jewelry, KC gear, and baby items. Because 20 vendors each bring their own specialty, the mix is always eclectic and varied. About 75% of the inventory resets every month, so there is almost always something new to find even for regular visitors. Are the vendors actually present during the sale, or do they just drop off their items?
Our vendors are present in the warehouse during every sale weekend. Unlike traditional antique malls where items sit in unattended booths, The Red Apron vendors are on the floor to help customers, answer questions, and share the history behind their pieces. This means you get real information about what you are buying and a much more personal shopping experience. Staff are also available to help you load heavy furniture and large purchases into your vehicle before you leave. What is the price range for items at The Red Apron?
Pricing is designed to be approachable for a wide range of shoppers. You can find smaller treasures and decor pieces starting around $10 to $20, with the average shopper spending around $40 to $50. For those hunting for significant furniture or rare antique statement pieces, higher-end items can reach $800 or more. Because individual vendors set their own prices, the range varies from sale to sale, which is part of what makes the treasure-hunt experience so rewarding. Is The Red Apron a restaurant?
That is a fair question and one we hear from time to time. The Red Apron is not a restaurant. It is a monthly vintage pop-up market located in a red warehouse in Liberty, Missouri. We carry curated home goods, antiques, painted furniture, handmade products, and more. If you are looking for a great meal to pair with your visit, Liberty Square is nearby and has more than 10 restaurants and coffee shops within easy reach, making it a great spot to round out your day.How early should I arrive if I want the best selection?
If you want first pick of the one-of-a-kind pieces, Friday morning is the time to go. Regular shoppers often line up before the 9:00 AM opening because popular items, especially painted furniture and statement pieces, can sell within the first hour. That said, vendors bring a large volume of inventory each month, and Saturday still offers plenty of great finds. Following The Red Apron on Facebook and Instagram before the sale gives you a preview of what is coming in, which can help you prioritize what to look for when you arrive.
